Stableford off the Blue Tees for the Men today. 66 players hit the course causing a two-grade competition.
In A Grade, it was Geoffrey Proposch  who came out the winner, finishing his round on 41 points, which is an unreal effort. Justin Pilmore  was the next best, closing out his round on 38 points. B Grade saw Bill Burnett  take out a tightly contested competition, ending his round on 38 points. Robert Foster  was hot on his heels, completing his round on 37 points. The ball pool for the day ran down the line to 35 points, with Michael McAllum (7th hole, 1.57m) and Rodger Licheni (13th hole, 3.80m) taking home the nearest to pins.
Thursday November 8 Four-Person Ambrose off the Red Tees for the Ladies competition on Oaks Day. The cold and wet conditions made golf a tad more difficult than it needs to be. It was Team Bond, Hyett, Bray & Turner taking home the win, finishing up their round on 59.5.
Team Schultz, Parsons, Trethowan & Greenham was the runner up, closing out their round on 60.375. The nearest to pin on the day went to Lisa Reade (5th hole).
Saturday November 10 Blue Tee Stableford for the Men today with Cam Muller Order of Merit points up for grabs today. Cool, cloudy conditions and minimal wind in the morning meant there were no excuses today. 100 golfers competed leading to a three-grade comp. In A grade we had Matt Berry (9) record a great score of 41 point on return from holidays to edge out non playing pennant captain Calem Hoffmann (3) who fought off a late round choke to record 40 points. In B grade we had Keith Rixon (20) record 41 points from Peter Conquest (19) on 41 points. Score of the day went to George Richards (25) 42 points in C grade from Robert Bridgart (24) on 40 points. Ball pool for the day went down to 36 points. Nearest the pins for the day went to Paul Ludowyk on the 5th, Steve Troon on the 13th and Club Champion Peter Brooks nailed down the 7th and 17th holes with a near hole in one.
Red Tee Stableford for the Ladies competition. It was Karen Lombardi (25) on 39 points which was enough to take home the competition winnings from Andrea Harvey (31) on 39 points. The ball pool for the day went down to 34 points whilst Merle Whitnall took out the nearest the pin on the 7th hole.
Sunday November 11 Great weather again today with a Stableford Medley competition being played. A large Sunday field headed out to take advantage of the great course conditions that our course maintenance crew have produced. Once again, some huge scores were posted. Today’s winner was Simon Piasente (15) on a whopping 45 points! Unbelievable effort. The
runner up on the day went to Colin Chin (16), who closed out his round on 38 points. The ball pool ran down the line to 36 points.
