Audiences are ready to be mesmerised, hypnotised and even zombified as hypno-comedian Andy Vening arrives at the Torquay Bowls Club on July 7.
After selling out last year’s Torquay Show crowds were left in stitches during the hilarious hypnotic fun where volunteers demonstrated the power of their unconscious mind in displays of hilarity and mayhem.
Andy has channelled over seven years and hundreds of hours’ experience as a clinical hypnotherapist into an exciting, unique and engaging live act that blurs the lines between mysticism, science and entertainment.
The use of hypnosis in therapeutic setting is used to treat variety of physical and mental conditions, using Hypnosis, individuals can be helped to live healthier life or achieve specific, achievable short-term goals.
Andy said that anyone can be hypnotised and ensures that no one is embarrassed or made to do something against their beliefs.
“Anyone can be hypnotized. The level of hypnotic trance is determined by several factors and these include age, level of intelligence, being under the influence of alcohol or drugs and if you’re not open to exploring the process of hypnosis,” he said.
“Hypnosis stage performance is a fun learning experience and no person/s on stage will be asked to do anything that goes against their beliefs, values or moral code.”
As a passionate and skilled hypnotist, Andy is dedicated to ensuring audiences have a good time, focusing on stage hypnosis he has performed for crowds throughout the country with his incredible approach and engaging live set.
