Retirement living in one of Geelong’s most sought-after locations could be possible this year, with expressions of interest for Stage 6 at Barwarre Gardens Retirement Village still open.
Come and see what all the fuss is about on March 3 from 11am-2pm as Barwarre Gardens holds its first open day of 2018.
The day will also mark the official opening of the Men’s Shed, one of the many initiatives brought to the village over the past few years.
Barwarre Gardens offers an abundance of activities and plenty of outdoor space to entertain family and friends when they drop by for a visit.
There are two outdoor barbecue areas with tables and seating, as well as plenty of green space for residents to enjoy at their leisure.
A wide range of activities are on offer during the open day to make the afternoon a pleasant one too.
Jazz and blues act The Jazz Connection Trio will provide some easy listening to while lunch is enjoyed at the village from noon-1.30pm.
Guests can grab a bite to eat at the sausage sizzle or treat themselves to a Devonshire tea, coffee or ice cream.
Craft stalls will be showcasing their wares and will be available to purchase by the public, while no open day is complete without a few games of bocce!
Get to know the residents and take a walk around the village during the open day. The future’s exciting – spend it at Barwarre Gardens Retirement Village.
